A delicious & authentic soup prepared with goat’s leg.
Servings: 4 Persons
Goat Leg – 4 nos, cleaned properly (Check for fresh / new legs)
Turmeric Powder – ¼tsp
Pepper – 2 tsp
Jeera – 1 tsp
Coriander seeds – ½tsp
Onion – 2, sliced
Tomato – 1, chopped
Mint leaves – 4 sprigs
Coriander leaves – 2 sprigs
Salt – to taste
Butter / Ghee – 2 tsp
Cloves – 1no.
Cinnamon – 1no.
Ginder garlic paste – 2tsp
Heat a pan, dry roast pepper, jeera & coriander seeds. Grind to powder. Keep aside.
Use pressure cooker or a thick bottomed big pan;
Heat butter/ghee in the pan, add cloves, cinnamon, onion & saute well.
Add mint leaves, legs, ginger garlic paste, tomato, salt, grounded pepper masala and 4 cups of water.
Pressure cook for 30-45 minutes in medium flame or till the leg’s cooked well.
Dole out yummy hot aatu kaal soup, garnish with coriander leaves.
