A delicious Thuvayal for biryani made with raw Onion, tamarind & green chillies.

Servings: 4 Persons


Shallots (¼cup) (onion)

Green chilly (4nos)

Tamarind (small gooseberry size)

Salt (to taste)


In a electric mixer, grind to a coarse (as shown in image)the above ingredients without water.


A superb chutney for biryani and lemon rice.
