Many of us love Bread Omlette, an anytime snack. Kachumbari is noting but a mixture of Finely chopped onion, tomato, green chillies & corriander leaves with white pepper powder & salt, an african side dish. This is mixed along with egg, and prepared as omlette.

Servings: 1 Person


For Kachumbari Omlette:

Eggs (2nos)

Onion (Finely Chopped ¼cup)

Tomato (Finely Chopped ¼cup)

Coriander leaves (Finely Chopped 1tsp)

Green chillies (1no, finely chopped)

Pepper Powder (¼tsp)

Salt to taste

Oil (2tsp)

For Bread:

Bread 2 slices

Butter 2tsp


Kachumbari Omlette

Crack & add eggs to a bowl, add all the above ingredients except oil. 

Heat a thick flat pan, grease it with oil. Add the above mixture & spread it. Lower the flame. Apply 1tsp oil on the top of egg.

When cooked, turn to the other side & fry for a minute.


Apply butter on both sides of bread.

Toast it in a toaster or use the flat pan 7 toast it till crisp.


Enjoy Crispy bread with soft & yummy egg omlette.
