A spicy powder made with a tiny dry prawns, called Chennagunni in TamilNadu (available in all Dry Fish Shops); a yummy powder, goes good with Idly / Dosa.
Servings: 4 Persons
Chennagunni (2 cups) (Dry Prawns)
Red Chilli (½ cup)
Black Pepper (¼cup)
Curry leaves (1 cup)
Salt (to taste)
Roast each ingredient separately and power together using Electric Mixer.
Store in a dry airtight container.
You can add Sesame Oil if required, it will be good without oil too. Just enjoy with Idly / Dosai.
