Use Pressure cooker and prepare this Mutton gravy, Quickly.

Servings: 4 Persons


Mutton (½kg)

Turmeric Powder (½ tsp)

Ginger Garlic Paste (2tsp)

Onion (1cup chopped)

Tomato (1cup chopped)

Green Chillies (2tsp)

Cashew Nuts (¼cup, grinded as paste)

Garam Masala (1 tsp) (or any chicken/mutton Masala) (or 2 cloves, 3 cinnamon, 3 cardamom)

Freshly grounded Black Pepper (1 tsp)

Red chilli Powder (1 tsp)

Coriander Powder  (2 tsp)

Salt (to taste)

Mint leaves (2-3 sprigs chopped)

Coriander leaves (2-3 sprigs, chopped)

Oil (3tsp)


Heat oil in pressure cooker, add green chillies, onions, ginger-garlic paste and saute.

Add tomato & mutton, and all other remaining ingredients and 2 cups of water.

Pressure cook for 15 minutes. When the Gravy is Ready, garnish with coriander leaves & serve hot.


Dole out Yummy Mutton Gravy, tastes good with Chapathi / Parota / Idly / Dosa / Rice.
