Matoke, (also known as matooke, ebitookye in Uganda) Raw plantains are often wrapped in plantain leaves and steamed until tender, in low flame, mostly in coal.

Raw Plantain (raw banana)- 4nos
Plantain leaves to cover
Peel off the skins from plantain.
Preferably use coal burner. Heat water in a big vessel, Steam plantains covered fully with plantain leaves.
Cook for 1 hour. Remove it from fire. Smash them till it looks like paste.
Dole out hot Matoke with G-Nut Sauce.
