Drumstick leaves has many medicinal values.  It has an excellent source of nutrition and is a natural energy booster. This yummy curry is prepared using Thoor dhal & Jeera.

Servings: 4 Persons

Ingredients

Drumstick leaves – 4 cups (cleaned)

Onion – 1 chopped finely

Tomato – 1 chopped finely

Green Chilly – 2 nos Slitted

Mustard – ¼tsp

Thoor dhal – 1 cup boiled

Oil – 1 tsp

Salt – to taste

Turmeric Powder – ¼tsp

Asafoetida – ¼tsp

To Grind;

Coconut – ½cup grated

Jeera – 1tsp

Method

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, wait till it sputters.

Add green chilly & onion, saute for a minute.

Add tomatoes, Asafoetida, Turmeric powder, drumstick leaves & ½ cup of water.

Add salt & close with a lid. Let it boil in medium flame for 5 minutes.

Add the grinded paste (Coconut & Jeera), wait for a boil & remove from flame.

Servings

Dole out yummy healthy Moringa Curry of TamilNadu. Tastes good with rice & Chapathi.
