Octopus cooked in Spicy Indian flavours, tastes yummy!! It tasted almost like our Prawns fry!!

 Servings: 1 Person


Octopus (2nos)
Onion (4nos – Chopped)
Tomato (2nos – Chopped)
Ginger Garlic Crushed (2tsp)
Turmeric Powder (½tsp)
Chilly Powder (1tsp)
Coriander Powder (1tsp)
Pepper Powder (1tsp)
Somb Crushed (½tsp)
Coriander leaves (4sprigs)
Curry leaves (2sprigs)
Salt (to taste)
Oil (½ cup)


Search in internet for “How to clean Octopus?” there are many videos available. 

In a thick bottomed pan, heat oil, crushed ginger garlic, and Onion. Stir till onion becomes golden brown color, in low flame.

Add Curry leaves, chopped octopus, tomatoes, all the above masala powder and stir for a while.

Now add 1cup of water, coriander leaves and salt (if required, for taste). Mix Well & cook for 20 minutes in medium flame. If required add oil.


Dole out hot yummy Fried Octopus!!
