Paneer marinated with Spinach a popular dish for North Indians, taste good with Chapathi / Naan / Roti.

Servings: 4 Person

Paneer (1inch cube – 2cups)

Spinach (1 bunch) (palak leaves)

Onion (finely Chopped ¼cup)

Tomato (finely Chopped ¼cup)

Green Chilli (2nos)

Garlic Cloves (Peeled 10nos)

Ginger (1inch cube)

Garam Masala (¼tsp) (or any Chicken/Mutton masala)

Bay leaves (2 nos)

Fresh Cream (½cup)

Salt to taste

Butter (3tsp)


Bring to boil the cleaned palak in less water. Cool it.

In a blender, grind palak, ginger, garlic & green chillies. Keep aside.

Heat butter in a pan. Fry Paneer. Keep aside.

Use the same pan, Saute Cushed garlic, Cumin Seeds & onion, in medium flame.

When onion turns golden brown, add tomato & saute well.

Add the palak mixture, bay leaves, garam masala and fresh cream.

Add the fried Paneer, bring to a boil.


Dole out yummy hot  Palak Paneer with Naan / Roti.
