Jackfruit Seed boiled & fried with little oil along with chilli Powder, a yummy sidedish for rice varieties.

Servings: 4 Persons


Jackfruit Seed – 3 cups, Skin peeled off

Chilli powder – 1 tsp

Turmeric Powder – a pinch

Oil – 3tsp

Salt – to taste

Garlic – 2cloves, crushed (optional)


Pressure cook fackfruit seeds with half salt & turmeric powder. Chop into half, keep aside.

Heat oil in a pan, fry the jackfruit seeds, in low/medium flame, till crisp.

When ready, add chilli powder, salt, garlic & saute well.
