Kothumai Adai in South India may be called as Piyaars Paratha (a different version in N.India) a yummy tasty flat bread.
Servings: 4 Persons
Wheat Flour (4cups) (Kothumai maavu)
Drumstick Leaves or Methi leaves (1cup) (Optional) (murungai keerai or vendhaya keerai)
Chilli Powder (¼tsp) (optional)
Onion (Chopped 1cup)
Green Chillies (2nos. chopped)
Garlic (4nos. crushed)
Salt (to taste)
Oil (to toast)
Mix all the above ingredients (except oil) with water like roti/chapathi batter.
Ball them to a small orange sze.
Heat a flat pan, wipe it with oil, flatten the ball to a thick roti type of.
Fry both sides with oil, repeat till cooked.
Dole out hot yummy kothumai adai, tastes good with Curd or Pickles.
