Finely sliced potato toasted with less oil and spiced up with chilli powder, A yummy crispy and quick side-dish with Potato.

Servings: 4 Persons

Ingredients

Potato (Big) – 2nos

Home made Kulambu masala – 1½ tsp   (or chilli Powder – 1tsp, coriander powder-½tsp)

Garlic – 5 cloves, crushed

Curry leaves – a sprig

Mustard – ¼tsp

Oil – 5tsp

Salt – to tatse

Method

Chop potatoes ½cm thick, 2cm square.

Heat oil in a pan, in medium flame, add mustard, garlic and potato.

Fry till crisy, finally add curry leaves, salt and chilli powder.

Toss Well and remove from flame.

Servings

Dole out yummy hot spicy crispy potato podimas, tastes good with Sambar, Rasam & Curd rice, a good combo side-dish.
