A traditional Vadai with a hole is prepared using urad dal, a famous snack all over India.

  Servings: 4 Persons


Raw Mango (finely chopped, 1 cup)
Red Chilli Powder (1tsp) (or home made sambar powder)
Asafoetida (¼tsp)
Salt to taste
Sesame Oil (¼tsp) (Nal Yennai)
ustard (¼tsp)


In a bowl, mix all the above ingredients (except oil & mustard)
Heat oil in a pan, fry mustard, when sputters, add it to the above mix.


Dole out Spicy Tangy Mango Pickle, tastes good with Rice items.
