Raw Banana / Valaikai / Raw plantain marinated with chilli powder & fried, a good combinational side-dish for rice.

Raw Plantain – 1no
Home made Kulambu masala – 1½ tsp (or chilli Powder – 1tsp, coriander powder-½tsp)
Garlic – 3 cloves, crushed
Oil – 5tsp
Salt – to tatse
Peel off skins of plantain, chop them like wheels, ½cm thickness.
In a bowl, mix chilli powder & salt with sprinkling water, like a paste.
Add the chopped plantain, to the bowl & mix well.
Heat oil in a pan, in medium flame, fry the plantain well, both sides.
Dole out yummy hot spicy plantain fry (Valaikai Varuval), tastes good with Sambar, Rasam & Curd rice.
