Crispy Chicken bits with pepper & curry leaves flavor. hmmm.. mm..

Servings: 4 Persons


Chicken (1kg)

Turmeric Powder (½ tsp)

Ginger Garlic Paste (2tsp)

Onion (1cup)

Tomato (1 finely chopped)

Green Chillies (2tsp)

Garam Masala (½ tsp) (or any chicken/mutton Masala)

Freshly grounded Black Pepper (2 tsp)

Red chilli Powder (1 tsp)

Salt (to taste)

Curry leaves (2-3 sprigs)


Cook Chicken in water, with salt, a bit of turmeric powder and a spoon of ginger garlic paste. Strain the stew and you can use that for preparing TamilNadu Chalna or for Yummy Soup.

Cool the Chicken pieces, split using hand/spoon and keep aside.

Heat oil in a thick pan, add these chicken pieces and fry for 10-15 minutes in medium low flame.

Add chopped onion, green chillies, tomatoes to it and fry for 2 minutes.

Add freshly grounder black pepper powder, a bit of garam masala and salt.

Wait till crisp, if required, add oil; before removing out from the pan, add fresh curry leaves.
