Foxtail millet is rich in dietary fibre, and minerals like iron and copper. A healthy snack for kids and teens.
Servings: 4 Persons
Foxtail Millet – 1 cup (Thinai Arisi)
Honey – ½ cup
Cardamom – 2nos (crushed)
Cashew nuts – 2tsp (broken)
Ghee – 4tsp
Grated Coconut – 4tsp
Wash & soak Thinai arisi for a hour.
Drain water .
Heat a thick pan & fry the millet.
In low flame, stir continuously, till the rice splutters.
Remove from flame, cool down the fried millet.
Grind the fried millet in mixie.
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients.
Hold the mixture to ball shape.
Let wait for ½ hour.
